In my group during class today, I looked at the annotations of Lyric and Grant. Their sources from both authors appeared to be properly cited as far as I could tell, and for the most part the annotations themselves were structured properly, a particular example is, Adidas Company. “Learning From the Journey With ESPN’s Maria Taylor” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_x_58u7UQnI, 2017. The two sources form Lyric where: Learning From the Journey With ESPN's Maria Taylor and Women in Top Management Positions in the Sport Industry: Breaking Down the Barriers and Stereotypes. From Grant he hadn't yet put his sources in MLA citations, but received his from protectthebrain.org and the YouTube video top 10 NFL players Tragically Affected by CTE. I did notice a few things about Lyric's annotations that I thought were worth mentioning. Firstly, I really liked how not only did she stick to the three paragraph structure, but she also went over the three major components for each annotation before going much more in depth with each individual paragraph. I also thought it was really food that she had a quote from the source in her annotation, but noticed that for her second annotation she did not include such a quote. I would also recommend that she goes back and adds a third paragraph to her second annotation describing how that particular source was either similar or different from her other sources. But overall, I thought that the annotations were very well done and properly formatted.
